LycoRed Receives FDA Approval for Food Coloring; Unveils New Corporate Image
LycoRed Ltd., Beer Sheva, Israel, has received FDA approval for the use of Tomat-O-Red, natural tomato lyco­pene, as a food coloring. The approval allows the company to market natural lycopene as a colorant for foods and beverages. This natural colorant provides various shades of red. Tomat-O-Red is ready-to-use, and highly stable under a wide range of temperatures, and the color does not shift with changes in pH. Tomat-O-Red is available as a liquid dispersion or a cold-water dispersible powder, and it is derived from tomato lycopene so it provides health advantages along with its function as a colorant.
LycoRed has also launched its corporate image redesign as a part of its global strategy to strengthen its market presence. The new corporate image includes a new company logo, website and other marketing materials based on the LycoRed marketing plan.
